ECUADOR EARTHQUAKE
As you know Sunday, April 17, 2016. The strongest earthquake hit Ecuador in decades flattened buildings and buckled highways along its Pacific coast. At least 570 people are now known to have died in the quake, 155 people remain missing, and 7,015 injured. It also more then 25,000 people remain in shelters.
Most of the affected area is in the three towns in coastal Ecuador: Manta, Portoviejo and Pedernales,
The lack of water, electricity and sanitary facilities are creating a big health problem.
Now, these would be very helpful to the people in Manta,Portoviejo and Pedernales.
At this time, I, as an Ecuadorian and member of the Ecumenical Order, I am reaching out to you and all our members to help with whatever you can, to prevent an epidemic in the country for lack of Water, electricity and sanitary conditions.
